I have teaching experience both in sociology and in law. This includes designing and leading lecture-based and experiential courses.

2019 – Instructor, “International Law.” General course in public international law, Northwestern University Pritzker School of Law. Instructor of record, designed syllabus. Enrollment: TBD.

2015 – Adjunct Professor, “Social Policy.” Upper-level undergraduate elective, Lasell College. Instructor of record, designed syllabus. Enrollment: 22.

2008-09 – Teaching Fellow, “Community Action for Social and Economic Rights.” Teaching assistant to Professor Lucie White, for an upper-level two-semester seminar on community lawyering at Harvard Law School. Supervised student work with community organizations. Enrollment: approx. 20.

2008-09 – Clinical Litigation Fellow, “Human Rights Clinical.” Supervised student legal research and writing at Harvard Law School International Human Rights Clinic, in support of cases brought under the Alien Tort Statute in the U.S. Supreme Court and federal appeals courts. Supervised winter term research trip to South Africa. Enrollment: approx. 20.

2001-02 – Secondary School Teacher, Geography and English as a Foreign Language. Francisco Manyanga Secondary School, Sussundenga, Mozambique. Multiple classes, grades 8-10. Taught Geography courses in Portuguese. Typical enrollment: 55.
